Yate-based housebuilder Cotswold Homes was joined by friends, colleagues and residents at its headquarters and on its Corsham and Broughton Gifford sites last month to mark Macmillan Cancer Support’s World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

‘Those who attended were generous in their support, donating both money and homemade cakes for this very worthwhile cause,’ reports Terri Hayes-Pugh, Cotswold Homes’ head of sales and marketing.

‘It was a great day and a fun way to raise funds. It’s clear that most people have been affected by cancer in one way or another and this explains why the turnout was overwhelming.

‘We pledged to double the sum raised during the event on September 28 so have now sent a cheque for £2,000 to Macmillan which provides information, practical advice and assistance for people facing cancer.’
