With the first birthday of Princess Charlotte on May 2 only weeks away, local housebuilder Cotswold Homes has chosen Princess Way as the name of its newest development of nine new homes in the Downend area of Bristol.

Our advice is to secure a plot off-plan now and enjoy the opportunity to personalise the interior finish of your new home with kitchen, tile and flooring options.

The new scheme, close to Badminton Road Methodist Church, follows the success of Cotswold Homes’ earlier Downend development, Badminton Chase, where all the homes have been sold. However, a fully-furnished showhome at Badminton Chase is open for viewing by appointment with estate agent Andrews (telephone 0117 946 1799) to give would-be purchasers at Princess Way a feel for the lifestyle the homes offer.

The exclusively private homes at Princess Way range from two-and-a-half storey properties of the type which can be seen at Badminton Chase to four-bedroom detached homes. Unveiled for the first time will be a brand new design for an innovative three-bedroom home.

Cotswold Homes’ head of sales and marketing, Terri Hayes-Pugh, says all the Princess Way properties have been designed by the firm’s in-house team: ‘They feature flexible accommodation which can be adapted to the needs of today’s modern households. They have evolved from the house-types most popular among local buyers whose comments and preferences have been taken into account.’

Martin Blake, director of estate agent Andrews Land and New Homes, which is planning a spring launch event for Princess Way, says experience suggests the properties will be snapped up quickly.

He said: ‘Our advice is to secure a plot off-plan now and enjoy the opportunity to personalise the interior finish of your new home with kitchen, tile and flooring options.

During the launch event potential buyers at Princess Way will be able to inspect the new showhome at Badminton Chase planned by one of the region’s leading interior design specialists, Jane Clayton & Company.
