Cotswold Homes scores in Corsham
Local housebuilder Cotswold Homes is to provide new kit for AFC Corsham, the amateur football club in the Wiltshire town’s Leafy Lane which offers football opportunities for children of all ages.
The firm, which is building 45 homes for sale at Corsham Rise in Potley Lane, says the sponsorship is part of its policy to support the local communities in which it works.
Boys and girls who make up the club’s Under-11 Tigers team soon will be sporting brand new kit bearing the Cotswold Homes logo.
As an FA Charter Standard Development Club, AFC Corsham aims to raise standards in grassroots football as well as players’ social status, typically through refereeing courses for teenagers.
‘We are a registered charity and with limited funds we are hugely grateful to firms like Cotswold Homes which provide valuable support exactly where it is needed,’ says club treasurer Bob Mullins. ‘We don’t just take the money from sponsors but like to develop a mutually beneficial rapport with them.’
The scheme comprises three-bedroom semi-detached homes and four-bedroom detached properties designed for flexible use of space. Notable is the way a spacious family ‘hub’ incorporates an open-plan kitchen, dining, family room with French windows opening on to the garden. Some homes have double garages.
Cotswold Homes invites would-be buyers to see and discuss plans, specifications and finishes as well as contemporary kitchens with fully-integrated appliances and stylish fixtures and fittings which are included in the prices of the new homes.
