The popularity of a South Gloucestershire football club has been endorsed by local housebuilder Cotswold Homes which has paid almost £500 to sponsor brand new custom-designed kit for its under-16 team players.

‘After 116 years, membership of the club has grown to more than 130 players, with links to around a dozen local schools, so we regard Coalpit Heath Football Club as a significant near neighbour of our new headquarters in Yate,’ says Cotswold Homes’ head of sales and marketing, Terri Hayes-Pugh.

‘When we were invited to provide some support for the club’s talented local youngsters, we did not hesitate to say that we were pleased to do so.’

In recent years Cotswold Homes has become a significant team player in the local housebuilding sector. The firm has designed, built and sold homes ranging from luxury townhouses to detached family homes across the region from Cromhall to Clevedon and Chippenham to Cheltenham.

Says Terri: ‘We take our corporate social responsibility seriously and are always keen to put something back into the communities in areas where we are building. In recent years Cotswold Homes has provided practical support for local organisations ranging from schools and Scouts to clubs and conservation groups.’

Currently more new homes are taking shape on the firm’s Corsham Rise development in the town’s Potley Lane and at Chandler’s Mews, a scheme overlooking Birds’ Marsh in Chippenham. Plans for more new developments in Cheltenham and Bristol are expected to be announced soon.

For more details of the new homes contact agents Strakers, 01249 652717 who can advise on the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. Buyers also benefit from Cotswold Homes’ new GameChanger package which, subject to terms and conditions, offers help with moving costs such as estate agency fees or by paying for carpets.

Please note: The Government's help to buy scheme has now ended. Corsham Rise and Chandler's Mews are now completed developments. For information about our available homes to purchase, please view our Current Developments page.
