Cotswold Homes scored with new local team of lady footballers
Brand new training kit for players in the Ladies Team created this year by Tytherington Rocks Football Club has been sponsored by Cotswold Homes which is building in the South Gloucestershire village.
‘Formation of this team writes a new chapter in the history of our club which was established in 1932,’ says team manager James Eveleigh. ‘This is the first ever ladies team to compete in the club colours and we welcome Cotswold Homes’ support in getting them off to a smart start.’
Support for the club is the latest of several Cotswold Homes sponsorships in Tytherington where the firm has assisted the Village Shop, Lunch Club and May Day Fair.
This week the housebuilder reported that, only weeks after site work started at The Paddocks, its development close to the heart of the village, it has already sold half of the homes in the first phase.
A mix of two-bedroom bungalows and three- and four-bedroom high-specification detached family homes currently are taking shape at The Paddocks, described by Cotswold Homes’ sales and marketing director, Terri Hayes-Pugh as ‘a countryside haven.’
She revealed that people living locally are at the forefront of those expressing interest in the new homes. ‘Many are attracted by the support available through the Government’s Help-to-Buy scheme,’ says Terri. ‘Whatever the political climate, there’s still an appetite for brand new, low-maintenance homes with contemporary features and benefits. With Help-to-Buy available – and not just for first time buyers – buyers can purchase with just a five per cent deposit.’ (Terms and conditions apply – this scheme has now ended).
The new homes, designed externally to reflect the local style of existing homes in Tytherington, feature imaginative and spacious internal layouts.
