High Standards at the Horizon

'Cotswold Homes knows from experience that excellent first-class personal service pays off' - that's the verdicts of one launch event visitor

Appointments to visit Cotswold Homes’ new Horizon show home in Clevedon’s Lea Grove Road on the launch weekend were snapped up so fast that local estate agent Steven Smith and the housebuilder’s sales manager Terri Hayes-Pugh had a non-stop day of viewings and discussions with more than 30 would-be buyers.

‘The high level of interest meant there was no need to offer any incentive to visit, but we still held our traditional champagne draw to add to the fun,’ says Terri.

The winners were a Clevedon couple, Sara and John Callow, who have an interest in property and were keen to view the quality of the design, construction and value-for-money aspects of the scheme.

Sara’s verdict? ‘A very high standard throughout. We scrutinised all the finishes and they really were very good indeed. So were the fittings and equipment, like the high specification kitchens by Moores, with fully-integrated SMEG appliances, and bathrooms with sanitaryware by Villeroy & Boch.’

For many visitors arriving in the show home, the triple-height glazed hall with its galleried landing was the first ‘wow’ factor. On a practical level, they appreciated the fact that homes at Horizon come with private garages as well as parking spaces, a rarity in this location.

Sara praises the way the Horizon team ran the launch event: ‘They provided all the information we needed, showed us around and answered all our questions, but then let us take time to have a good look around on our own as well. There was no pressure and that’s the way we like it.

‘Cotswold Homes could not have been more helpful. I get the impression that they already know from experience that excellent first-class personal service pays off.’
