This week the wraps come off plans for ten exclusively private new homes in what has been described as ‘a chocolate box Wiltshire village offering the best of olde worlde charm.’

Local housebuilder Cotswold Homes says its new development, named Broughton Court, will create a new community in the semi-rural location of Broughton Gifford, about 11 miles from Bath.

The scheme off Newleaze Park will feature one of Cotswold Homes’ most popular house designs as well as some original layouts specifically planned to complement the surrounding area.

Ranging in size from two-bedroom terraced to four-bedroom detached properties, the new homes are expected to appeal to buyers wishing to down-size as well as growing families needing more space.

The double-fronted four-bedroom Burford home – the fastest-selling on the firm’s most recent developments in Corsham and Chippenham – is designed with versatile living space specifically to meet the needs of today’s ever-changing modern families.

A spacious entrance hall links the lounge – which has French windows opening on to a patio and lawned garden – with an open-plan kitchen-dining suite. The latter is big enough to feature windows at both the front and back of the house where an adjacent utility room provides access to the garden.
