For the second year running a building site manager responsible for a residential development in the Knowle area of Bristol has won one of the highest industry accolades site managers can receive.

Dave Beckey (49), whose home is in Kingswood and has worked with housebuilder Cotswold Homes Ltd for several years, has been shortlisted from more than 13,000 entrants to receive one of the industry’s coveted Pride in the Job Awards.

They have been presented annually for 33 years by the National House-Building Council (NHBC) to the site managers whose work achieves the highest standards. The NHBC, which sets industry standards to protect homeowners, is the leading provider of warranties and insurance for UK housebuilders.

Dave’s award will be presented during a special ceremony at Bournemouth International Centre in September.

After 12 months of rigorous judging, Dave is justifiably proud to receive the award in recognition of his work on the company’s recently completed development of 14 new homes at The Villas in Redcatch Road in Knowle. Last year he won a similar award in respect of his work on Cotswold Homes’ Mulberry Grove development of 14 homes in Morley Road in Staple Hill.
