Braving the shave macmillan cancer support

A personal message from me - I need your support!

Cotswold Homes has always supported local communities and charitable causes.

Cotswold Homes has always supported local communities and charitable causes.

We’re a close knit company and it became apparent that nearly all of us had been touched by cancer in some way and felt the need to do something positive.

Many of us had relatives who had been supported throughout by Macmillan nurses and the practical and emotional help provided was invaluable. In recent years we’ve focussed our fundraising attention on Macmillan Cancer Support and, with the help of partners and subcontractors, raised several thousands of pounds at the famous coffee mornings.

My niece Paige is an Osteopath aged just 27. She’s bravely going through treatment for Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer and it is impossible to describe the effect on her and the wider family.

We’re hopeful of a very positive outcome and, in support of her losing her hair, I’ve decided to ‘Brave the Shave’ on October 16th and raise more funds.

It’s going to be day of fun with colleagues outbidding each other to do the deed - a great way to draw attention to Macmillan Cancer Support and the nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty each and every day.
