'There are no hidden extras. Furthermore, buyers who secure a property off-plan will have an opportunity to personalise the finish of their new home with a variety of kitchen, tiling and flooring options.’

Local housebuilder Cotswold Homes plans more than 60 homes at Corsham Rise, a greenfield site with south-facing countryside views on Potley Lane.

The development features three-bedroom semi-detached homes and four-bedroom detached properties, some with double garages. Externally finishes include traditional stone walls beneath clay roof tiles.

The way Cotswold Homes creates flexible use of space has proved to be popular on the firm’s most recent developments. Notable is the way a spacious family ‘hub’ incorporates an open-plan kitchen, dining, family room  with French windows opening on to the garden.

When a marketing suite opens on site at Corsham Rise in early February, would-be buyers will be able to discuss plans, specifications and finishes as well as contemporary kitchens with fully-integrated appliances and stylish fixtures and fittings.

‘All these items – and more – are included in the price of the house,’ explains Terri Hayes-Pugh, Cotswold Homes’ head of sales and marketing. ‘There are no hidden extras. Furthermore, buyers who secure a property off-plan will have an opportunity to personalise the finish of their new home with a variety of kitchen, tiling and flooring options.’

She adds: ‘Our research suggests that Corsham Rise will prove to be popular with families whose breadwinners are working in Bath and Bristol.  City traffic congestion combined with limited and costly parking facilities make the option of commuting by train from nearby Chippenham station an attractive one. So is the prospect of returning to a home where country walks start on the doorstep.’

Prices of the new homes will be released soon. For more details, and advice on using the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, visit the marketing suite or contact estate agents Strakers on 01249 652717 or Andrews, 01179 461799.
